From 2015, Western Australian Government has decided that all 457 Visa holders will contribute to the cost of educating their children in public schools and for the first child they will pay $4,000 per annum. There will be no fees applicable for the second or subsequent children. The average estimated cost of educating a student in a public primary school in 2014-15 is $14,833 and $19,363 in a public secondary school.
