Changes to document certification requirements

VETASSESS announced that for General Professional Occupation assessment services, effective 1 December 2015, certification of documents will no longer be required and will now accept high quality colour scans of originals.

With the revised change, the application process will be simplified for Australian skilled visa applicants, which will now save time and money. The revised change applies to VETASSESS General Professional Occupation assessment services only, with no changes to the evidence required by VETASSESS.

Previously, applicants are required to provide certified copies of photograph, proof of identity, change of name, qualification aware certificate, academic transcript, employment evidence, resume/cv, and any other supporting documentation as requested.

Documentation requirements for Trade Occupations remain unchanged and trade applicants will have to submit certified copies of documents.
