Can I sponsor myself in Australia?
You can not sponsor yourself in Australia unless if you own a business that can potentially bring a great contribution to Australia.

What is a migration agent?
A registered migration agent is a qualified person who can legally provide you with immigration assistance. If for example you do not feel confident enough in submitting your application or if you are encountering any type of difficulties, a registered migration agent can advise you on things you should do.
Are employers required to sponsor my visa?
There is no obligation by law for an employer to sponsor your visa.
What is employer sponsored visa?
The employer sponsored visa is a visa that let skilled workers, sponsored by an eligible Australian business, from overseas or in Australia live and work in Australia permanently. For more info about the different options available, click here.
Who can certify my original documents?
Australian Registered Migration Agents can certify your original documents. Other persons who can certify documents include Public Notaries, Magistrates, Justices of the Peace, Commissioners of Declarations, Commissioners of Affidavits, solicitors, and medical doctors. The people authorised to verify documents, may vary from country to country. Photocopies or faced copies of certified documents are not acceptable.
Where can I have my medical done?
The level of medicals required varies from country to country. Medicals needs to be conducted by a panel doctor or radiologist (if an x-ray is required) who has been appointed by the Australian Government to perform medical examinations on visa applicants outside of Australia. I am a New Zealand citizen, how do I become an Australian permanent resident?
The additional pathway to permanent residence for New Zealand citizens is done through the visa subclass 189. The applicant must meet certain criteria to become a permanent resident, to find out about those requirements, read our full article here.
Who can translate my documents to English?
Documents in languages other than English must be accompanied by an accurate English translation of each document. If documents are being translated outside of Australia, the services of a Registered Translating Service in that country must be used. If documents are being translated in Australia, this must be done by a translator who is accredited by the National Accreditation Authority for Translations and Interpreters (NAATI). Perdaman Global Services can refer applicants to a NAATI accredited translator and provide details of an overseas Registered Translating Service.
Do Perdaman Global Services fees include Government charges?
Our fees do not include any Government charges or costs associated with obtaining medicals, police clearances and English tests.
What if I incur health costs that are not covered by my health insurance?
How do I meet the character requirement for temporary and permanent migration?
For the Australian Government to determine whether you are of good character, you may be asked to provide police certificates for each country you have lived in for 12 months or more over the last ten (10) years since turning 16.
What is the Skilling Australians Fund (SAF)?
The Skilling Australians Fund was implemented on 12th August 2018. To obtain the SAF, sponsors must accompany their nomination with Nomination training contribution charge. The charge varies from $1200 to $7200 depending on the company’s turnover and type of visa required. What is the Australian Values Statement?
All applicants aged 18 years and over are required to sign a values statement when applying for selected visas. The statement requires applicants to confirm that they will respect the Australian way of life and obey the laws of Australia before being granted a visa.
What is 482 Visa Condition 8107?
- cease to be employed by the organisation that sponsored you for the subclass 482 visa
- work in a position or occupation inconsistent with the position or occupation in relation to which the visa was granted; or
- engage in work for another person, or for yourselves, while working for the sponsor.
What happens if I cannot find another sponsor or apply for another Australian visa and have not left Australia within the 28 day period?
New Australian citizenship requirements
The Australian Citizenship Legislation Amendment Bill will soon be applicable. It requires the applicant to live in Australia as a permanent resident for at least 4 years. Applicants will also have to pass the citizenship test with new meaningful questions. Read about all the requirements change here.

What is the Labour Market Testing (LMT)?
From 12th August 2018, the Government has released requirements for companies who want to outsource foreign workers.
